My husband and I had the best experience working with Stephen and his team in selling our house. His team was thorough, detailed and extremely responsive to our needs. We got a great offer within 3 days of listing our house and had a completely seamless transaction. You hear horror stories from people about selling a home but that couldn't have been further from our experience. We will highly and strongly recommend Stephen and his amazing team to anyone looking to sell a home.
I bought my investment property from overseas so Kami was my eyes, ears on the ground, providing the trustworthy advice and experience I needed for such a large and potentially risky undertaking purchasing a home sight unseen. Portland is a busy, thriving real estate market, so Kami's time is stretched thin, but based on her diligence before – and her assistance after the sale – along with her keen sense Portland market, she will be my go-to buyer's agent in the future.
Working with Stephen and Jennifer exceeded my expectations. I wanted to save as much money as possible so I searched for a real estate agent with a lower commission. I found Stephen's website, watched his video and liked what I saw. Upon meeting I was given preliminary numbers which matched, and the final sale price was greatly above the listing price! I am VERY satisfied. Stephen cares more about selling your house than his fees. He delivered as promised. I would work with Stephen and Jennifer again in a heartbeat, and recommend their team to anyone.
Stephen and Jennifer were wonderful to work with. They provided to me a step by step plan/agenda, and I knew what to expect throughout the process. I would recommend them to friends and family, and use them again as well.
The best thing about Stephen is that he has used his experience to fine-tune a process that is efficient and lucrative for selling houses. He invests in the advertising/marketing aspects of the sale (e.g. visibility on all websites, professional photos, etc) which translates into a quick sale for possibly more than another realtor. I was extremely satisfied with this. We sold our house within 2 days for more that I would have expected. He also gave good advice on what we should focus on in home improvements before it went on the market. The only word of caution that I have is that he doesn't hold your hand' as much as another dealer. He's very responsive to any requests, but the personal touch is lighter than other realtors. For me, this was a perfect match (I didn't want much of that) but if your personality type wants to be close to your realtor you may want to go with someone else.

Stephen came out and conducted a walkthrough with us and suggested (optional) updates/repairs prior to listing. He also gave us great suggestions for interior & exterior paint colors. Jennifer and Stephen were both available to answer any and all questions during the entire process from start to finish. Kami and team are so amazing! I couldn't have asked for a more helpful and understanding team in this process. Finding a house is not easy in this market and Michael was so helpful and patient with us, not allowing us to get into something we weren't happy with. Kami and Michael could have easily rushed us along to get paid sooner but they were so amazing and helpful and made sure we got exactly what we were looking for. I will recommend them to everyone who shows any interest in buying a house! Amazing!
I had been in the hands of another agent for months and it was going poorly. Stephen and his team took on my (now stale) listing and had it sold in days, closed in weeks. Excellent marketing, communication, negotiation, and closing.

My wife & I were looking for an honest realtor that would offer us (the seller) a fair price and at the same time implement outstanding service in the selling our home. We found Stephen FitzMaurice. We knew that in our neighbor there was lots of competition with 10 homes for sale. Stephen told us that with the home priced fairly and proper promotion the home could sale within a month or two. I thought that might be a tall order. Knowing that Stephen was one of the preeminent agents in the area we decided to trust him. Within 3 weeks we had a cash offer for the full asking price. The house was sold 11 days later. We have a rental that we will be selling in the future and Stephen FitzMaurice will be our agent. I can't recommend Stephen highly enough.
