Skills Training College is a Registered Training Organisation. (RTO #45654 | CRICOS #03884A) We provide nationally accredited training to both local and international students. We specialise in employment training with a focus on the practical. Our courses include barista training for the hospitality industry, manual task safety for retail and health care, as well as white card courses for the construction industry. We also offer a range of first aid courses that are in demand in all sectors. All of our courses use high-quality materials and up-to-date equipment. Put this together with our unrivalled student support and you have a unique learning experience. We deliver training that meets student, industry and employer needs. Awesome communicator and a good sense of humour
The training itself and the Trainer is good but the online exam before training is so long and how can you answer the exams if you haven’t had the training yet.
Adam was a great communicator and gave great examples of good/bad espresso pours. He made the class feel relaxed and enjoyable.
Peter was a fantastic instructor. Respectful, kind, encouraging and very knowledgeable.
He made this a laid back and comfortable learning experience. He is a credit to your training centre.
The classes are small, you learn together, but at your own pace. Always encouraged to give it another go and not made to feel like your questions are silly.
You learn the basic coffee skills that are required to be able to work in the cafe industry.
I cannot recommend this course enough, especially with Peter at the helm.
Overall a wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone looking to learn these skills.

I had the opportunity to attend to the Barista course last Friday and I had a such great experience!
Peter is a great trainer who knew how to teach us with great professionalism and didactics all the steps to enter the barista’s world and hygienic practices in the workplace.
The class has had a positive, collaborative and comfortable learning environment so that we could all carry out the practices in splendor. We have even had the opportunity to serve coffee to real customers so they can evaluate our service!

I did the barista training here and it was really good. We got to practice multiple types of coffees multiple times. I got lots of personal attention and got answers to all my questions. The trainer was very sweet and the other participants were very nice too. Highly recommend
