Skills Training College is a Registered Training Organisation. (RTO #45654 | CRICOS #03884A) We provide nationally accredited training to both local and international students. We specialise in employment training with a focus on the practical. Our courses include barista training for the hospitality industry, manual task safety for retail and health care, as well as white card courses for the construction industry. Well I wasn’t actually trained. Arrived Sat 9AM and the building was locked. If you wish to enforce arriving 30 minutes earlier, make the actual invite 8:30 – 3:00 and ask to arrive on time rather than making it 9:00 – 3:00 and write a paragraph below it to arrive 30 minutes earlier in an email that contains many other things like your welcoming, username, password, link to the eLearning site, etc. Or split the emails up. Or even send an auto reminder email/sms and only focus on arriving on time. I sat outside for 1 hour hoping the trainer will somehow step out and check. The guy on the phone said this is a secure government building, hence why it’s locked. No where in the lengthy email stated such fact and once the glass doors are closed there is no way to even k ock on the panel to be heard. Please get your process part right. I can be certain that this dilemma happens often. What are you doing about it? Charge foe a reschedule? I’m not happy at all and they were two of us outside.

The trainer was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and was very informative on how to do the next coffee. The only thing is that there needs to be more industrial espresso machines and a dishwasher too.
Great vale course the facilitator worked efficiently to get the candidates thorough a busy practical program with the facilities available to him .
There was enough coffee machines and access to the machines for learners to be. One skilled within the time. The lack of sinks and for disposing of waste and washing did however at times cause small delays.
The serving of students from another classroom added a level of interest and was a well thought out and implemented teaching plan .
A very comprehensive course with an entertaining teacher.

The trainer was amazing and course content thoroughly informative , only downfall was face to face probably needed to be extended by an hour as last important practical seemed rushed for me and others I believe😊 but Martha is excellent
The training and information provided were excellent, and I now feel more confident moving forward. However, the facilities were inadequate. As a requirement of the course, we were expected to clean up, which is reasonable. Yet, the lack of running hot water on-site meant that we had to transport milk jugs of hot water through two rooms to the kitchen to ensure there was hot water in the sink. From a hygiene perspective, we mostly washed up with lukewarm water and carrying jugs of water thru rooms would raise concerns about health and safety compliance.
