Both of my kids reached a point as teens where they needed input on their writing from someone other than Mom. For my daughter who enjoys writing, we just sent some of her papers to Theresa, and Theresa gave her editing feedback. For my son who despises writing, we started with the same approach, but Theresa suggested actually working him through the full effort of writing a paper instead of just looking at the final product. My son, who can be quite stubborn, really connected well with Theresa, listened to her, and responded well to her prompts, assignments, and teachings. Theresa was very helpful with both of my kids, and I definitely would recommend her services!
Theresa has taught two of my teens while I’ve watched their writing and communication skills improve dramatically. My college senior says her class was the most impactful in all of his education.

Eehmmm life as we know it is a period of time to live… it’s something we can control and also not at all the same time! If u want to tern left when walking straight then by all means turn left but im telling you right now IM SURE AS SIGMA TURNING RIGHT of course my point is free will. But say you wanted to fly into a dog you’ll probably end up flying into cat if we’re being honest with each other and clearly my point is you that life is unpredictable. So YES I do recommend decern to learn!

Mrs. Theresa was an AMAZING teacher! She taught me to reach for the stars and beyond! I found my writing style and so much more under her guidance. I will continue to use what she taught me for the rest of my life.

Theresa is an excellent teacher. She has been challenging my son to do his best and he has grown so much. He is learning valuable skills in writing (and also in navigating computers as a bonus) and very important life-lessons in time management, consequences, diligence, etc. He LOVES his language arts (and his teacher)!

Theresa’s class has been wonderful for Robbie. She genuinely cares about each student and pours a lot of time into them. I appreciate that her class is not just about reading and writing, but she teaches many other skills as well (presentation skills, time management skills, mindset skills). Robbie has come a long way in the two years that he’s been attending her class.

This class and Ms.Theresa has been wonderful this year! Our daughter came into this anxious and unsure of herself of what she could handle on her own and Ms.Theresa gave her confidence, challenged her, and gave her tools to troubleshoot and work through her anxiety. It’s been a great class and we will be signing up again and for future students.

Discern to Learn has been a game changer for my 16 yo. He has grown, not only in his writing but also by taking ownership in his learning and school work. He has become more responsible and better organized. Theresa and her team do an outstanding job!

It is a great course! With the weekly call, the mindset calls, and being able to call almost any time makes a very functional course!
