Claim denied even though i was registered for 2 months

Do not recommend!! My claim was denied and I received this message on the reasoning:

“ Unfortunately, as you did not have your google timeline turned on with your phone, we cannot proceed with this claim.”

When signing up for the phone protection there was no visible information on their “google timeline requirement”. The only way to see this information is if you visit the FAQ’s on the website. Pretty sneaky right? They waisted my valuable time by requiring a video call. Requesting receipts and documents etc, only to later deny the claim because of a google setting being turned off which could’ve been verified in the very beginning of the claim. Why not check this first if this automatically denies someone’s claim? I’m shocked! The agent was not nice on the call he seemed very aggravated.

Please protect your phone with a reputable company!!! Not worth the hassle people!!

worst company ever, took my money and them HID behind a stupid BOTT They said they would send information to the phone accounts to set up coverage. you guessed it no contact.

Worst company in the world have ever dealt with. They took my money right into my bank account without any notice not only that did not provide me with any insurance but they said they provide try to get my screen fixed they said that I never put my phone on my account that was the only reason I even went to the site was to get insurance on my phone. Either way don’t waste your money. Terrible customer service and no help what so ever.

The worst company in the world if you want your money taking rid of your bank account and no Services provided then this is a company for you. Not only did they have the one of the worst csr’s I’ve ever dealt with also the managers and supervisors are jerks to no help whatsoever

I read reviews and believed AKKO provided insurance coverage at a price I was interested. I had a couple of questions and tried several avenues to contact the company. (1) I emailed “Gerald by message a couple of times but received no response. I phoned the company number that said ask me any question, just call. I called and received a message about phone system not for use, instead email the address I tried previously. A couple days later I could not remember if I had gone ahead and bought the plan, so I tried explaining that I’d like to know if I had paid for the plan. Again frustrated by lack of correspondence from the company I informed them that I wanted my plan cancelled and a refund issued. I never heard. Imagine if I had to file a claim. I decided they would not be the type of company I wanted to deal with. Therefore, I choose Apple plus care.

I purchased an AKKO plan primarily to protect my surfboards. Shortly after purchasing the plan, I buckled one of my boards and went through the process of filing a claim. I found the process simple and intuitive. I had a local surf shop examine the board and deem it totaled so I was able to get a full refund for the board from AKKO minus the deductible. Ended up buying a different board but would definitely recommend AKKO and I will be a continued subscriber. I now have all my gear protected which is pretty epic!

I currently had AKKO for my past year of college and I got to say it was one of the best services I have ever subscribed to this past year! I had an unfortunate accident with a water loss of my AirPods and AKKO had a a full coverage check sent to me within two weeks!! It was seemless and easy to file, plus great customer service on AKKO’s end. Overall, this is a great plan for any student anywhere around the world!! 12/10
